Honouring the Life and Legacy of Lydia Tabone

On October 23, our community lost someone truly special Lydia Tabone.

Lydia was one of those people who lit up every room she walked into. She battled Type 1 diabetes from the age of 10, but never once let it define her or hold her back. Through every challenge, she faced life with courage, kindness, and a heart that cared deeply for others.

She was a devoted mum. Her kids were her whole world and they adored her right back. Losing her is an unimaginable heartbreak, and now it’s our turn to rally around her little ones, just as she always did for others.

A GoFundMe has been set up to support Lydia’s children and help ease some of the financial pressures they’ll face as they grow up.

If you’re in a position to help, every contribution, big or small, will make a difference. It’s a way for us to honour Lydia’s incredible spirit and make sure her love and kindness live on through her kids.
