To mark the 40th anniversary of Medicare, the Stronger Medicare awards will recognise and honour Medicare Champions from around Australia: outstanding individuals and practices that provide exceptional care, embrace innovation, and work together to improve the health of their community.

Nominations are also open to the many hard-working people, such as receptionists or administrative staff, who do not have health care profession qualifications but work for primary care services and go above and beyond to benefit patients
